MLK Volunteer Opportunity

Every year for Martin Luther King Day, January 19th 2009 Thurston county along with local AmeriCorps programs celebrate this wonderful man's life by organizing several community service events. Volunteers are wanted for help with one such project involving alternative transportation and a bike drive/repair event. Volunteers with some knowledge of bike repair are highly desired although any person interested in helping out will be appreciated. Volunteers are asked to commit to atleast a 2 hour time slot between 9 AM & 5 PM.
